decent and indecent sub-worlds

the only thing that worries me about true democracy is that my leftist friends will lose their self esteem when they realize humans are too messed up and we are better off ruled by the decent opulent minority.

I. duterte's speech to soldiers

this video appeared in my recommendation list and since steven seagal was in it i got curious and watched it. i hope you watch it because it is very educational. the knowledge you learn here you will never learn in schools, books, movies or news papers:

you might be shocked steven seagal is being honored despite numerous sexual harassment allegations in the past. you might be shocked that duterte offered to put up a strip club for the soldiers, and he tried to teach the soldiers how to pick up women when they go to manila. it's like game of thrones - "what's the point of fighting if you don't have a cock ...."

the world we live in has many sub-worlds. each sub-world has it's own function or purpose. no world is really better than the other. duterte, me, trump and steven seagal belong to the indecent, filthy, immoral sub-world. in the past, people who belong in the indecent sub-world don't become presidents. i know american presidents are technically war criminals but i'm talking about optics. that's why the behaviors of trump and duterte are so shocking to the decent sub-world. unfortunately for the decent sub-world, only someone from the indecent sub-world have the guts to tackle the current issues most important to the people,

try to understand the indecent sub-world that duterte and trump plays into. you simply should not expect a construction worker or a jeepney driver to not objectify women after a physically agonizing full day's work. it's easier to be decent if you work in an air conditioned office. plus the work they do is more important to society than the media - transportation and construction are the backbone of the economy. i'm just trying to point out each has a function and no sub-world is really better than the other.

the media belong to the decent and noble sub-world so of course they end up demonizing the indecent sub-world unobstructed.  the indecent sub-world has it's own acceptable culture. note duterte tells the soldiers that steven seagal was also a soldier. that is not true. THAT IS A LIE !!! if you belong to the decent sub-world your first instinct is to condemn the president for the lie. BIG MISTAKE !!! it is common and acceptable practice in the indecent sub-world to exaggerate a friend's status or accomplishment when introducing to another friend.

the media is really in a bubble, and reporting only what is in the bubble, from the perspective of the bubble. of course, why would a college graduate with a decent salary hang out with drug dealers and prostitutes and play tongits in the slums?

there is another sub-world where usually soldiers and teachers belong to. they fall prey to turks and indian loan sharks (5/6). note how knowledgeable duterte is about this sub-world or social dillema. after giving personal guns as gifts to the soldiers duterte tells them not to pawn it and if they do, pawn it to him instead of the turks. chances are, a politician from the decent subworld would not understand what 5/6 even means.

II. alabama vs philippines

half of alabama rejected a child molester - glass half full. however, nearly half of alabama voted for a child molester - glass half empty. in the philippines, it's glass 1/4 empty:

60 year old freddie aguilar (picture on the left) was never convicted of child abuse despite publicly admitting having a 16 year old girlfriend. instead he was praised by the common folks who didn't think he did anything wrong. it was mostly just the educated upper class of society that condemned him. "nung isilang ka sa mundong ito, mas bata pa ang nanay mo kay sa apo ko ...".

i think it runs in our blood because before 1988, the legal age for a girl to to marry in the philippines was 14 years. even now  muslims can marry a girl as soon as she hits puberty so it's legal to have four 11 year old wives. the prophet mohammed had a 6 year old wife. to be culturally neutral mother marry married st joseph at 13 because at that time it was customary for jewish girls to marry at 12 years old.

it's a scientific fact that marriage at a young age ruins a girl's future. humans are not perfect but we must not stop trying to improve. the good news is that human race in general continues to improve throughout history. who knows the future generations will also consider us evil savages for killing and eating the innocent cows and chickens. after all one of the greatest person in history george washington was a slave owner. but we must not let the evil things happening around us ruin our happiness as long as we do our part no matter how small but to the best of our capacity to help the needy and the vulnerable.

what if freddie's girlfriend is my daughter? then i would not care about my daughter and i will be asking freddie for money to support my drug habbit. the reality is in the philippines if any old guy so much as sends an unnecessary "good morning" text greeting or facebook message to a minor belonging to good parents or family, he immediately goes to jail no questions asked. meanwhile even cops are shacking up with 15 year old girls who have nowhere to go (foster home system filipino style). and it's hard for me to say it's unequal justice because many dysfunctional dads are already doing a good enough job ruining their kid's future as you can see in the right of the picture. if you report her dad to the cops she will kill you because she still loves her dad like crazy. my foster kids were showing me a viral video of a dad beating up his child. they were commenting that they felt sorry for the kid. i told them that chances are, they should also feel sorry for the dad because the reason why he is beating up his kid is because he also got beaten up by his dad when he was a kid. according to dr. drew and adam corolla, it's the gift that keeps on giving.

P.S. i got my 5 minute medical degree from google. not bad eh? if i was a vet i would become very rich making instructional youtube videos of common medical surgeries or procedures on dogs and cats. i'm sure millions of pet owners won't sacrifice their kid's P15K college tuituion fee on a life saving surgery for their dog but if the procedure is in youtube, i'm sure they would try it themselves because if things go wrong it's just a dog and the dog would die anyway if they don't do it. and to think there are those who would condemn freddie aguilar but spend P15k on their pet's surgery instead of giving it to their diabetic neighboor to buy insulin. YIKES !!! that's an uber philosophical debate and argument and it tortures me just thinking about it. oh my god i can't get it off my fucking mind. imagine your daughter has a pet she loves to death that needs a P15k surgery and you also have a diabetic neighbor who is dying because she can't afford insulin? what would you do? HOLY COW !!! i would rather be dead than be put in that position to decide.
