powerful tool against covid-19

(i posted this wiki idea at the start of the pandemic on april 2 2020. now it may seem like a bad idea because of the conflicting opinions  and misinformation. the criticism is there will be different wikis created with conflicting information. that's as stupid as saying we should not have governments because each country will have it's own government with conflicting systems. at least with the wiki, anyone is free to choose which wiki to trust. unlike citizens in china who can't just go to another country if they don't like living under communism. and if a country becomes a danger to another country they have to go to war and millions have to die just like america dropping atomic bombs in japan. on the other hand, if a rogue wiki becomes dangerous for society, the government can shut it down without people dying just like facebook and tweeter banning tramph or shutting down child pornography sites.  the government wiki would at least give people like me a source of critical information such as the current statistic on covid cases, the current status and rules of the lockdown, information on vaccines, where to get vaccinated and what are the requirements. the wiki will provide a single site everyone can go to for all these kinds of information. and if crazy people such as alex jones creates their own wiki site that urges people not to get vaccinated, then either the government can shut it down or his followers can follow darwin's law of natural selection)

this collaboration tool allows anyone in the world to get vital information about the covid-19 pandemic in his/her local community, organization, village/baranggay, city, province/state, country and the world all in one central location. each community, village/baranggay, city, province/state and country is responsible for creating and maintaining their own covid-19 information page (wiki page). this allows leaders at various levels to give timely updates or changes on statistics and quarantine orders and instructions to their constituents. this also allows leaders to monitor the latest news and status of other jurisdictions near them, below them or above them so they can make better decisions and collaborate with other leaders. the leaders can give instructions to their citizens on the best way to contact them for questions and concerns. this allows anyone to monitor or get up to date status of their hometown if they happen to be far away so they can make better decisions in helping their love ones.

it only takes 15 minutes for an entry level web developer to learn the basic syntax of this powerful tool. an administrative head of government (president/prime minister, governor, mayor, village/baranggay captain) simply has to assign anyone with at least entry level web developing skills to read the main page of the wiki tool.  it only takes 30 minutes to create.

note that this weapon can be deployed independently and quickly at any level. be proactive and pass this message to your administrative head of government (e.g. mayor or governor) so he/she can be a trailblazer and set an example for other leaders of the world to follow.
