mayor duterte,
i hope this message gets to you, because i think it will
convince you to run for president. win or lose. even if the poll says you only
have 5% of the votes, you should still run. it is very important to give the
filipinos a choice, even if we eventually end up choosing a bad president
(which i think is what will happen). my dad once told me the difference between
a rich person and a poor person is the number of choices. a billionaire choosing
to eat a big mac for dinner instead of lobster is different from a poor person eating a big mac
because he can’t afford lobster. please mayor, give the filipinos the luxury of
having lobster at the 2016 presidential election table, even if the the
filipinos will most probably choose to eat a big mac.

BORACAY REOPENS & EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED
i warned you guys about duterte in my blog 3 years ago - https://ian-crystal.blogspot.com/2015/10/dear-mayor-duterte.html. just kidding actually i'm impressed. i always want to find a knowledge bomb perspective on every issue so people will hate me even more and i don't have to pick them up at the airport (although now there is grab and uber maybe i should start being nice. but there are still weddings. yesterday i was so scared i thought my elementary school classmate abi mac invited me to her wedding turns out she just requested me to like a bridal shop in facebook. i can't think of a meaty knowledge bomb perspective for this boracay rehab so let me just throw you a bone. here it goes ---
duterte is so cruel. now 20% of the filipinos who don't like duterte will never enjoy boracay ever again until the end of eternity because it's a symbol of his achievement. if i was duterte i would have pretended to oppose the rehab but order the minister of tourism to go ahead and complete the rehab and just fake a drama spat in public. anti duterte folks will cheer for the minister of tourism and when boracay rehab is done they will enjoy boracay because it's a symbol of duterte's defeat. meanwhile, duterte supporters will also enjoy boracay because the rehab happened under duterte so you can still interpret it as one of duterte's achievements. duterte should care for the happiness and enjoyment of all the filipinos, not just those that support him. duterte should also recognize the weakness or imperfections of human beings. not everyone has ice water in their veins like me. in fairness duterte just did something similar to my suggestion when he secretly ordered the sakbayan to jail imelda marcos but also pushed for bong bong to be a vice president because he knows it will never happen because it's unconstitutional. duterte is the only president to jail imelda marcos. even president osmena was not able to jail imelda. SHAME ON YOUR GRAND FATHER MILO OSMENA !!!
