the taliban leaders are praying their soldiers will have the discipline to not harm any american. the neocons are hoping a taliban soldier will disobey orders and harm americans so they can continue their multi million dollar contracts such as airconditioning the military tents in afghanistan. i find it too impossible for me to believe biden's advisers and military generals can be this incompetent. I FEEL they are intentionally botching the afghanistan withdrawal in hopes americans will be massacred and there will be public emotional support to continue the war. i hate conspiracy theories but JFK did get killed and until now it's unsolved despite america's capabilities. maybe biden and trump are like JFK except not popular enough to pose a threat to neocons.
i fear living in a world where the neocons can do whatever they want. that is why i fear living in a world where there are no leftists to balance them out. but my biggest fear is living in a world where there are no neocons protecting america. the problem right now is the leftists lack credibility so there is a lack of checks and balance.
i think the left can gain credibility by supporting or continuously praising the US military. you can condemn the massacre of iraqis that was revealed in wikileaks and support our military at the same time. both are not mutually exclusive. right now normal people with common sense feel the left wants to destroy our military so that's probably why they voted for trump and biden instead of bernie even if they favor medicare for all.
at first i was shocked to learn the US military budget is half of our discretionary spending. but i also learned only 7% goes to weapons program and around half of the budget goes to salaries and retirement pensions which means socialists should support a bigger military budget because it's practically a universal basic income (UBI) but even better because it has a good purpose. UBI is inevitable anyway as jobs become more automated and replaced by robots and AI. canada and japan are good smart countries and they depend on our neocons for protection. that means our neocons are probably not that evil after all. so instead of tearing them down, maybe we can build enough credibility and influence to prevent them from committing further atrocities and blunders.
i believe neocons can feel remorse for the unnecessary deaths of thousands of our finest men, women and lgbtqs in iraq and afghanistan. george bush is coping with his remorse by painting portraits of the dead soldiers and giving them to the family. even if i'm wrong, i don't think it's wise to dismantle our lockheed martins and raytheons. any american with common sense will feel very lucky and proud of the super high tech and sophisticated weapons they produce so when the left demonizes lockheed martin, people will forget about medicare for all and vote for biden.
neocons are our teammates, not our enemies. i think that's even an understatement. neocons are more like our fathers and we are like vulnerable babies in a treacherous world. leftists are like our mothers. i don't think the american gandhis and mandelas are psychopathic enough to develop a space based infrared system to match china's rapid advancement in weapons technology. i feel like i'm jack nicholson saying "you can't handle the truth" to tom cruise. especially i was having dinner recently while majority report was showing on my big screen tv and my girlfriend commented sam seder is good looking.
the populist left and right (tucker carlson/saagar enjeti) can gain more credibility by acknowledging that julian assange should have just exposed the atrocities in wikileaks and that it was dangerous to publish the hundreds of thousands of classified military documents without even making sure first they won't endanger national security. or else normal people with common sense will think the populists are working to destroy america. as far as i know none of the published confidential NSA documents harmed or endangered america but anyone with common sense know we just got lucky. many good caring people feel that we should never sacrifice or endanger our national security for the sake of principles. being safe is more important than being moral because if an invading army is raping my wife and daughter, i can't laugh at the rapists and say, "haha joke is on you because you are the bad guys and we are the good guys". justice is a luxury only for the powerful. even holier than thou leftists eat innocent cows and chickens even if there already are plant based alternatives. the slaves and native americans were the good guys but they simply suffered and there will never be justice for them.
if you say the prosecution of assange is no different from what our enemies are doing, you will lose credibility because anyone with common sense knows there is no moral equivalency. china is imprisoning harmless falon gong members and iran throws people in jail just for being gay. dissidents like chomsky won't last a minute in russia, china or iran. 4 bookstore owners in hong kong disappeared 5 yeas ago for selling anti communist books. leftists say people in china were laughing at us for the january 6 capitol riots. i think the chinese are jealous of americans because while they disappear just for selling anti communist books and get jailed for joining a meditation club, americans can storm and burn government buildings and shoplift under $900 without going to jail. but leftists don't value freedom because their brains are just wired differently.
leftists continue to help neocons by focusing on issues that don't really hurt the pockets of the power elites no matter which side wins such as gun control, border, defunding the police and abortion. these issues deflect attention away from the neocon's warmongering schemes to the point that just 2 days ago biden's very own secretary of state did not even know karzai is not anymore the president of afghanistan (just kidding of course i know it was just a slip of tongue). the neocons want us to behave like cocks in a cockfight so we don't pay attention to the many contractors and military personnel in afghanistan who in the past 20 years have been shouting "what the fuck are we doing here in afghanistan?".
i think the issues that the neocons use to distract us are easy to resolve. the problem is ideologues confuse "solving the problem" with "THE BEST THING TO DO". cancer has no cure but it's not that hard to figure out THE BEST THING TO DO which is maybe chemotharapy, say goodbye to your love ones and getting your affairs in order. we should not get too caught up with the issues because no matter how right or perfect you are you are still going to grow old and die. just chill !!!
example, there is no logic or science that can argue if the fetus is already human nor not. being pro choice or pro life is like being gay or straight. your feelings toward the issue is simply a personality which is a product of many uncontrollable factors such as genes, culture and experiences. the only valid argument for your stance is "because it's what i feel like". all other arguments are stupid. we simply have to agree to disagree. THE BEST THING TO DO is for each state should just vote on the stage or term abortion is legal/illegal and everyone should just respect the outcomes without further arguments and fighting. pro lifers should realize making abortion illegal will not change the number of abortions. pro choicers should realize that the right to choose is irrelevant if the majority FEELS the fetus is already a human being. on the other hand, it is ok to eat innocent cows and chickens even if there already are plant based alternatives simply because the majority FEELS it's ok.
what's mind bloggling to me is it's not just left vs. right anymore. it's also left vs. left. i've always felt tyt are not so smart so no surprise there but the feud between my idols kyle kulinski and jimmy dore is giving me PTSD. i'm a libertarian so i disagree with jimmy and kyle on almost everything. but to stay informed i depend on both of them and ben shapiro. when i want to be entertained, i watch fox news, cnn and msnbc.
i hope jimmy and kyle will patch things up. it's clear both had good intentions so they just need to admit and apologize for their bad judgement. humans can't always have perfect judgement. jimmy should admit he went a little overboard with slut shaming anna. kyle should also admit he had a poor choice of words when he called it the "tyt-jimmy dore" DRAMA. that was belittling a very serious situation. mccarthy smearing is serious. kyle did side with jimmy dore and condemned tyt for mccarthy smearing jimmy dore but kyle also belittled the situation by calling it DRAMA. it can easily be corrected by kyle admitting poor choice of words and apologizing. kyle should realize the tyt vs jimmy dore feud is not just a personal feud. it could be a devious chess move by the establishment to weaken their opposition. it's possible tyt sold out and connived with the establishment. nobody has proof and it should never be said by anyone who's credibility is important for improving america. it's ok for me to speculate because i'm just a cockroach. but just like we should lock our doors at night even if we are not 100% sure there will be an intruder, kyle should apologize and emphasize it's not a purely personal matter or drama because in this cultural war, an assault on your top allies could weaken the credibility of the policies you are fighting for.
the left could also earn more credibility by condemning the illegal israeli settlements and at the same time condemning hamas. the left should also condemn palestinians for jailing people just for being gay. the common rebuttal is that we should respect other cultures and religion. that argument falls flat if you just look at indonesia which is the largest muslim country but homosexuality is legal. the left should tell the palestinians to teach in their schools that israel have the right to exist, israelis are good and wonderful people and everyone will be prosperous if the palestinians behave like filipinos, blacks in south africa, blacks in america, hawaiians, and alaskans. americans committed horrible atrocities against the filipinos but the filipinos simply forgave and embraced the americans. the blacks in south africa and america were never vengeful and never committed violence against their white oppressors and instead just want to live in harmony. netanyahu will probably hang himself if the left follows my advice. when the israeli olympians were murdered in 1972 munich olympics by palestinians, netanyahu probably celebrated because it gave israel the license to occupy surrounding territories. i believe israelis can be as benevolent as americans if you embrace them because i have many filipino friends who worked in israel and don't want to come home. they love living in israel despite being second class citizens and not having the right to vote. meanwhile i have filipina friends who worked in other middle eastern countries who suffered physical and sexual abuse. this is actually common knowledge and when the left starts one sidedly condemning israel, people just shake their heads and think leftists have a mental illness.
in the philippines, the media has this tendency to bully or rattle whoever is in power to come up with a solution on how to stop china from encroaching into philippine territory and building military bases. that would be like condemning the doctor for recommending chemotherapy to a cancer patient and saying chemotherapy does not cure cancer and the doctor should find a way to cure cancer. anyone with common sense knows china can crush the philippine military like an ant but it's actually easy to figure out THE BEST THING TO DO which is build alliance with other south east asian neighbors similar to NATO and hope for the best. it's already happening and although it's THE BEST THING TO DO, it really does nothing to solve the problem. i always thought i was just missing something because i'm just a low intellect and these people have like oxford degrees. but during the presidential debate, when it was duterte's turn to talk about his solution to the problem, he said he will ride a jet ski and plant the philippine flag on the island. everyone laughed. at first the high intellect media criticized duterte for making fun of a serious issue but apparently most people with common sense know there really is no solution to the problem because until now duterte's approval rating never dropped below 70% the entire 5 years of his administration. experts say that's unprecedented in the history of politics anywhere in the world. duterte would even say disgusting things like he fingered his maid in his speeches. he even called the pope a son of a whore during the campaign even if a huge majority of filipinos are devoted catholics.
the morale of the story is that if you want to earn true credibility to influence people and make significant changes in society, you need to break free from the chains of theoretical purity and figure out what the people really want. it may be true that americans favor medicare for all and don't want unnecessary wars and atrocities. but americans also love their guns, they need a well funded police force to protect their love ones, and they want to secure the borders. americans are also aware that palestinians throw people in jail just for being gay and have a strong desire to wipe israel from the face of this earth.
chomsky is the king of the left but any normal person with common sense will be afraid of chomsky's ideology libertarian socialism which takes away our right to own properties and do business with one another. neocons love the term "libertarian socialism" because it reminds the vast majority of americans about the gulags in soviet union. smart people know soviet state capitalism was just similar to america's corporate style of capitalism and not even close to libertarian socialism. but when chomsky said 3/4 of americans believe in the devil and religious miracles, the neocons realized americans would be too dumb to realize the gulags were not caused by libertarian socialism. at least give it a more attractive name like "stateless collectivism". neocons love chomsky just like leftists love it when religious leaders steal money from their congregation and have 5 mistresses because it undermines their power and influence. at least religious leaders lie about it when they steal but libertarian socialists actually advertise they will take away everyone's hard earned property. maybe i'm just missing something because chomsky is the smartest intellectual alive and i'm just an idiot.
the left is lucky conservatives continue to be stubborn on climate change. but once the oil oligarchs have already rotated enough of their wealth portfolio to renewables and ben shapiro starts acknowledging climate change is a threat that we need to address, lookout !!! even if ben says the green new deal is crazy and only the private sector can successfully address climate change, that's good enough for folks with common sense who are aware corporations like tesla, who are suppose to ignore externalities, is instead the most powerful force against climate change. also, san diego is on target to run solely on renewable electricity by 2035, thanks to their republican mayor. republicans are starting to break free from the chains of theoretical purity.
