the 2 knuckleheads in this video communicate for a living yet they violate a very basic rule of communication. trump's adviser kept mentioning the word LINK even if technically there was no link, but there was a reference or mention, which is practically a link. the ONLY DIFFERENCE IS CONVENIENCE. with the link, the reader just has to click with the mouse. but by mentioning something that is very interesting or potentially explosive, the reader can still google it to get to the buzzfeed article. it would just involve more steps. so anderson cooper is a moron for repeatedly denying there is no link and kelly anne is a moron for using the word "link" instead of using the word "reference", or "advertise" or "hint" or "promote". so they end up going around on circles like idiots.
everyone is making it so complicated and confusing when it could easily be explained in less than 2 minutes.
1) trump accuses CNN of publishing a false and supposedly classified report damaging to trump, - something about a "golden shower" where trump urinated on prostitutes.
2) CNN denies publishing the false report. CNN only mentioned in their website that there exists an unconfirmed report published by buzzfeed damaging to trump.
the mistake of trump's team is they should have said something like this (i'm sure they could say it more eloquently):
cnn PROMOTED a false report damaging to trump by mentioning in their website that there exists an unconfirmed report in buzzfeed that is damaging to trump. CNN was the only major news org that ADVERTISED the unconfirmed report that buzzfeed published. other news orgs like new york times and the wall street journal did not promote or advertise the unconfirmed report that buzzfeed published because it's irresponsible journalism. CNN gave the buzzfeed report a sense of relevance or credibility.
CNN would have no choice but to simply apologize.
instead, trump's team gave CNN ammunition by their technically inaccurate accusation.
